Here is some more information about the services we provide.
Root Canal Therapy
When the pulp inside of a tooth becomes infected or inflamed, root canal therapy may become necessary. It is important to obtain these treatments whenever they are recommended by a dentist to prevent the damage from escalating. Failure to do so can result in abscessed teeth, which can result in spreading infection. Root canal therapy can go a long way toward restoring teeth to their prior health.
Endodontic Retreatment
Endodontic retreatment may become necessary if a tooth that has previously had a root canal sustains damage. Essentially, it reopens the tooth and removes the infection, cleans, sterilizes, then refills the tooth. Endodontic retreatment serves as a second chance for a tooth that sustains damage after having undergone root canal therapy. This can help to protect the tooth and prevent the need for extraction.
Apicoectomy
Apicoectomy is a final method for restoring a tooth that hasn’t reacted favorably to root canal therapy or endodontic retreatment. It is endodontic surgery that involves a much more complex process to restore the tooth. This method requires much more downtime than other methods, which is why it is generally used as the last possible method for treating a damaged tooth.
Cracked Teeth
Teeth that are cracked need to be treated immediately to prevent the cracks from escalating beneath the gum line. Early treatment can prevent extractions from becoming necessary. Whenever you notice a crack in your teeth, you should consult with your dentist immediately to minimize any escalation of the damage.
Traumatic Injuries
Trauma to the teeth needs to be acted on immediately. Fast action can increase the chances that the tooth will successfully be saved. When a tooth has been damaged or even knocked-out, an endodontist may be able to repair them and prevent potential escalation of the damage to your smile. We provide emergency endodontic care so that you can come right in if you suffer from a traumatic injury.
Resorption Repair
Root resorption is when your body eats away at your tooth’s root surface. While natural in baby teeth, it is very problematic in permanent teeth. Root resorption can occur in a multitude of different ways. It can occur both internally and externally. When the damage is allowed to escalate, it can lead to tooth loss. Resorption repair from an experienced endodontist can help to save the tooth.

These are advanced X-ray systems that provide us with detailed information about your oral health, from your nerve pathways to your tooth structure and more. This gives us improved accuracy, which enables us to provide you with the best possible care for your oral health concerns.
